During the COVID-19 lockdowns Softwest Software has been meeting with clients using both Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Most schools choose to use Microsoft Teams but we are also familiar with Zoom Cloud Meetings.
Softwest Software has tested the following cloud meeting apps:-
- Microsoft Teams
- Skype for Business
- Webex Meet
- Webex Teams
During 2020 Softwest Software has been assisting a large secondary college synchronise Maze with Potentiality.
We have also been involved to enhancing their OS Past Members records, cleansing the duplicate data and moving the addresses from the UM Common Address table to be stored against each record in the OS table. This is to facilitate the synchronising with Potentiality as past members can update their record online via Potentiality.
In February 2017 Softwest Software moved their accounting system from Geni to Xero. The move was prompted by their desire to have all services in ‘the cloud’.
Late in 2017 Softwest Software assisted a number of Catholic Colleges move their Maze databases to the CEWA domain.
In December 2017 Softwest Software installed a WordPress plugin called WSDesk to their website to assist clients in managing their helpdesk requests.
In May 2017 we signed a contract with CEWA to assist in their Leading Lights program deployment. Our role is to assist in the Data migration from the catholic colleges Maze administration system into their developing Dynamics 365 solution.

Softwest Software have commissioned a new BizPhone system from iiNet/TPG to provide a better service to our clients.
